Summary

If a PC has multiple GPUs – generally, Intel integrated graphcis and third party (NVIDIA), OS automatically dispatches GPU resource to EDIUS application. But this behavior may make unstable working of EDIUS (possible cause of freeze or crash)

Solution

Prerequisite
Upgrade all installed GPU drivers to the latest build.

Prerequisite
Dispatch Power saving graphics adapter (Intel integrated GPU) to EDIUS application. Use registry file in order to do it easily. Once done, you will see below screen in Graphics settings.

EDIUS Rendering Engine appears only in EDIUS 11, X
