On Intel Core Ultra processor PC, exporting interlaced H.264/H.265 files using "Use Hardware Encoder" option fails with error "The parameter is incorrect. (0x80070057)"

Intel Core Ultra processor’s Quick Sync Video only supports encoding to progressive video, does not support encoding to interlaced video.
To export to interlaced H.264 / H.265 video on Core Ultra based PC, take required action as below – Resolution depends on EDIUS version.

EDIUS version	Resolution
EDIUS 11	Upgrade to 11.21.16994 or later – to get the installer, click here Once upgarded, EDIUS automatically dispatches to software encoder if selected export format is interlaced.
EDIUS X	Deactivate “Use Hardware Encoder” option.
EDIUS 9	Deactivate “Use Hardware Encoder” option.

Steps to deactivate “Use Hardware Encoder”

1) Select H.264/AVC or H.265/HEVC exporter.

2) In the exporter dialog, untick “Use Hardware Encoder” option.

3) Modify another parameters if necessary.

4) Select destination and set export file name.

5) Click [Save].
