FAQ ID:000026197 | Date:2024/10/22

From 11.12.15602, restore offline asset function is available in Mync 11. This knowledge base navigates steps to restore offline assets.

Procedure

1) Right click on Library, one of catalog or Project name then select [Restore offline asset] context menu.
Alternatively, select either one then select [File] > [Restore offline asset]

2) Select “Offline asset” node. It contains the list of offline assets found in the selected catalog or the library. Assets are shown as paths.

3) Select the folder icon besides the path of an offline asset, then select a file to be linked to the asset. If multiple offline assets are listed, repeat the operation to restore each asset. Or, instead of selecting each, click “Search Folder” button at the bottom of the pane and select a folder to search files for all assets.

4) Click [Start] at the bottom of the pane to start restoring.

Current design limitation
At present, you cannot use files that are already registered as assets to restore assets.

Known issue
You cannot restore assets whose types are not supported to be previewed by Mync like title assets.
