When opening a project in EDIUS 11, EDIUS checks if used materials and project have already been registered in the AssetStore database. Because EDIUS accesses to the DB while editing project.
If they have not been registered, registration process runs (it synchronizes the content between Asset Store and project)
Taken time for the process is vary depending on number of clips used in a project and system drive performance.
Once registration process successfully, project will be opened and below dialog will appear sooner.

We recommend to save the project by selecting Save or Save as from [File] menu before starting editing. By doing this, the next time you open the same project, it will open faster (the project will open without running the synchronization process).
