Notes on changing frame rate value in clip properties

FAQ ID:000037941 | Date:2025/04/04

In EDIUS, I can change video frame rate in clip properties. However, if clip original frame rate is different to timeline frame rate and it is changed, audio speed will be changed when playing the clip in the timeline.

If loaded clip’s video frame rate is different to the timeline format, convert to a clip that matches to the timeline format.

1) Confirm project timeline frame rate in project settings – select Settings > Project Settings > Change current settings…

2) Close project settings.

3) Right-click on the clip then select [Convert] > [File].

4) Select exporter and tick ‘Enable conversion’.

5) Open advanced settings and set same frame rate as the timeline format.

6) Select destination and file name then export to a file.

7) Place converted clip onto the timeline.
