NOTE: This knowledge base is for first time installation of EDIUS. If you want to know the steps to upgrade the build, take another step – details here  

Prerequisite
Before running the EDIUS installer, obtain the latest Windows update – details here 

Installation
Follow below steps to install EDIUS:

1. Create eID
2. Install EDIUS
3. Run EDIUS

1. Create eID

1) Visit eID web site

2) Click [eID registration] button

3) Enter e-mail address and check the “I have read the privacy policy and agree to its terms and conditions” box after reading the privacy policy.

4) Click the [Send] button

5) A preliminary registration confirmation email will be sent to the email address registered. Once received, click the registration procedure URL link in the email

6) Registration web page will open. Complete all the required fields then click [Confirm] button

7) Confirm that all entered fields are correct then click [Registration] button. If you want to revise a field, click [Back to start] button

8) The “Registration completed” page will appear and you can now go to your Account page by clicking the [My page] button

2. Install EDIUS

1) Sign into Windows with administrator privileges

2) Double-click EDIUS installer 

3) Follow the installation wizard

4) If [Restart] button appears in the dialog, click the button to restart Windows

3. Run EDIUS

NOTE: If EDIUS PC does not have internet connectivity, activate the license by manipulating GV License Manager in advance – details here

1) Double-click EDIUS shortcut on the desktop. If the license has already been activated, you may require step#3 or EDIUS will start.

2) Enter EDIUS serial number (6 + 16 digit number) then click [OK] button
     * If you enter Upgrade / Jump Upgrade license number, you will also be asked to enter older version’s serial number. 

3) Enter eD (e-mail) and password then click [Log in] button.
