Usually, EDIUS.exe is monitored while running. If no UI progress occurs in EDIUS.exe, system report file creation wizard will appear. The system report file packs not only memory dump, but also other information that may be helpful. You can create the report file manually. There are two ways to create the report file:

1. From Start menu

1) Select Start > Grass Valley > EDIUS System Reporter

2) Click [Create System Report]

3) ‘Save’ dialog will appear. Select the destination then click [Save]

2. From Help menu

1) Run EDIUS then start a project

2) Select Help > Create System Report…

3) Click [Create System Report]

4) ‘Save’ dialog will appear. Select the destination then click [Save]

IMPORTANT NOTE:
1. Do NOT change the file name. If you need to create multiple files, add a prefix before the file name.

2. System report file is NOT universal tool that helps any issue.

3. If the system report creation wizard automatically and it’s caused by same operation, create the report file immediately by clicking [Create System Report].
