During installation of EDIUS Hub, which is a part of EDIUS X, an error appears and installation fails. As the result, EDIUS X application installation fails

If below error appears during EDIUS Hub installation, Task Scheduler service may not be running.

Follow the steps to start the service before installation

1) Open the Task Manager 

2) Go to [Services]

3) Right-click on Schedule then select [Start]

4) Ensure that the status has been changed to ‘Running’

5) Once completed, run EDIUS installer.

If you can’t start the service in the Task Manager, try to modify the registry value:

1) Ensure that you sign into the OS with administrator privileges 

2) Press Win + R key then type regedit and click [OK]

3) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Schedule

4) Enter 2 (Hexadecimal) to activate the service then click [OK]

5) Close registry editor

6) Restart the OS

7) Open Task Manager then go to [Services]

8) Confirm if Schedule has ‘Running’ status

9) Close the Task Manager then run EDIUS installer
