Try below troubleshooting to verify that the Template Exists, and is accessable from the user.

1.  Project template file cannot be accessed

In this case, the template won’t appear in the Presets list during creating a project.

A) Please check whether the template file can be accessed from the user who encounters the issue. 

B) In some cases the template is deleted – It will have to be re-created, please clear out previous broken template from the STRATUS.

C) Edius WAN Editing mode when checkboxed in the beginning moves the project location to the LOCAL drive. This causes the Stratus Project Templates to not be accessable.
   

2. Template was not registered to GV STRATUS

If you log on to GV STRATUS from EDIUS when you create a new project template, a new template file will be created and it will also be registered to Stratus’s Edius Project Management. If this registration fails, you cannot find the template in the Presets list during creating a project even though the template file itself is generated. There are some cases that registration fails.

A) The path is specified as an absolute path like “v:\Projects\Templates”. Edius Project Management doesn’t accept such a path. It easily occurs when Edius’s “Default project location” in the Stratus control panel is set as an absolute path. In addition, you can manually create in such a path.

B) When creating a template, specified path is outside of “<Default project location>\Project Templates” folder. Please note that comparing paths is done with path strings. For example, “\\file-server\Projects\Templates” and “\\192.168.100.11\Projects\Templates” are handled as different paths even if the IP address of file-server is 192.168.100.11.
